Betsy Clifford, M.H.S., CCC-SLP, holds a Master of Health Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Missouri. She joined the Saltillo team in February 2015 as an Assistive Technology Consultant and currently works with AAC teams across Kansas, Western and Central Missouri. She provides virtual and phone support in Western Kansas, North Central Missouri and South Central Missouri. Betsy provides individualized consultations and trainings, exhibits at local conferences and guest lectures for several speech language pathology university programs.
Betsy has seen firsthand how speech generating communication devices allow people who are unable to use their natural voice the ability to not only communicate functionally but also step into their confidence and have happier life experiences. Prior to working for Saltillo, Betsy worked in clinical settings as a speech language pathologist for over 5 years. In the course of that time, she had the opportunity to work with people across the life span using AAC.
Betsy has presented at several state conferences as well as professional development days for large groups in school districts and clinics. Betsy has also co-created several of the Saltillo implementation trainings and collaborated with the product development team on innovation projects.
