Avery Williams

instructor imageAvery Williams, M.S., CCC-SLP, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Arkansas and then went to pursue her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology at The University of South Alabama in 2020. Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo, Avery worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in outpatient pediatric settings, acute care pediatric settings, and acute care with the geriatric population. At these settings Avery was specialized in diagnosing and treating communication disorders and dysphagia in individuals with various diagnosis. Quickly after being introduced to LAMP WFL, Avery identified a need within her patient population and began working with PRC-Saltillo consultants to provide best practice for her patient demographics in south Mississippi and later Central California. Predominantly working in an outpatient pediatric setting, she was able to focus on obtaining permanent devices for patients with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, apraxia, and autism. Taking her education further she decided to become a LAMP Certified Professional. This allowed her to have confidence in collaborating with partnering school SLP’s and the occupational therapist of shared patients.

Avery holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Mississippi and California.
