PRC-Saltillo And Team Gleason Partner To Help People With ALS Stay Connected

Published November 2, 2026

For people living with ALS, maintaining communication can mean preserving connections with family and friends, participating in important decisions, continuing to work, and sharing life's everyday moments. To help make those connections possible, PRC-Saltillo and Team Gleason have partnered to focus on expanding awareness, education, and access to assistive technology and communication resources for individuals and families affected by ALS.

Throughout the ALS journey, communication needs often change. Navigating available technologies, resources, and support can be overwhelming for individuals, care partners, and clinicians alike. Through this partnership, PRC-Saltillo and Team Gleason will work together to provide educational opportunities, share expertise, and support greater awareness of communication solutions that help people stay connected to the people and experiences that matter most.

"Communication is deeply personal. It's how we share our thoughts, maintain relationships, and remain connected to the world around us," said Sarah Wilds, CEO of PRC-Saltillo. "We're honored to partner with Team Gleason to help more individuals and families adapt to the communication challenges that can accompany ALS. By bringing together our expertise and shared commitment to service, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve."

The collaboration brings together Team Gleason's deep connection to the ALS community and PRC-Saltillo's decades of experience developing speech-generating technology for individuals with complex communication needs. Together, the organizations aim to help ensure people living with ALS have access to information, resources, and technologies that support communication, participation, and quality of life.

“No one living with ALS should lose the ability to be heard,” said Blair Casey, CEO of Team Gleason. “Our partnership with PRC-Saltillo brings together decades of combined experience to help people navigate changing communication needs with confidence, so they can stay connected and live life on their own terms. No white flags.”

Additional information about future collaboration efforts and resources will be shared in the coming months.
