Taylor Lewis

instructor imageTaylor earned her bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2014. She spent her fellowship year working in a Texas school district and then transitioned to a joint applied behavioral analysis (ABA) and speech clinic. She provided direct speech and language therapy to neurodivergent children in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Taylor then transitioned to an outpatient pediatric clinic, where she addressed the complex needs of patients transitioning from acute care to outpatient rehab as well as those with developmental differences. As a subject matter expert for AAC, she participated in educating her peers about various forms of AAC, completed multidisciplinary AAC evaluations for individuals with complex needs, and guided formatting for new documentation as part of a team to ensure the inclusion of information necessary for reimbursement/funding. She was previously registered as an RBT and completed Safety-Care® Crisis Prevention Training with Quality Behavior Solutions (QBS).

Taylor holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Texas.
