Lauren Lowrie, M.A., CCC-SLP, earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she also served as a Teaching Assistant for Deaf culture. Before joining PRC-Saltillo, Lauren worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a variety of settings, including schools, Illinois Early Intervention, private practice, ABA clinics, home health, and nursing homes. Lauren finds joy in training and educating SLPs, families, and multidisciplinary teams across hospitals, schools, clinics, private practices, and universities on how to support patients in utilizing speech-generating devices through aided language input. She is particularly passionate about helping others customize individualized vocabulary to reflect the unique personalities and communication needs of each user.
