Shawn Malcomson, M.S., Ed., ATP, is the Access Product Specialist for PRC-Saltillo. He has worked as an AAC Specialist with PRC-Saltillo for more than 15 years. Shawn earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Ohio University and completed his Master’s Degree in Assistive Special Education Technology at Simmons College (MA). In addition, he has earned the Assistive Technology Provider (ATP) credential awarded by RESNA.
Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo he worked in a residential program with children who are deafblind before going on to work as an AT Specialist in a public school system. Shawn has experience providing training and technical support to a variety of AAC stakeholders. He has presented at many local, regional, and national conferences.
