Johnson Taing, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist native to the Bay Area. He earned his Bachelor of Communication Disorders and Masters of Speech-Language Pathology at San Jose State University. He served as a clinician for the Project AACES – Augmentative and Alternative Communication in Educational Settings grant project working with individuals with complex communication needs.
Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo, Johnson worked with a multidisciplinary team providing services for children with a diverse array of speech and language needs. He completed AAC evaluations, consulted with families and school teams, and provided ongoing intervention for device implementation. He joined PRC-Saltillo because of the shared mission for achieving an individual’s full communication potential through educational and team-oriented approaches.
Johnson holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Division 12 (AAC Division) and holds a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from California.
