Edge-Savage, M.S., EdS, OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist and Assistive Technology Consultant who has devoted her career to working with learners, educators, and families in selecting and implementing life-changing assistive technology tools and strategies.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Boston University, two post-masters Education Specialist Degrees in Assistive Technology and Special Education Administration from Simmons University, and an Assistive Technology Certificate from Tufts University.
Jennifer has been working in the field of Assistive Technology for over 20 years, co-founding the SSEC Center for Assistive Technology in Massachusetts, exploring the corporate side of AT as the Director of Implementation Services for Kurzweil Educational Systems and IntelliTools, and providing Assistive Technology Services through her active private practice in MA. She is the former Director of the Graduate Program in Assistive Technology at Simmons University. She has been on the Faculty at Simmons since 2004 and continues to instruct courses in AT for Teacher Education Programs. She is an active professional development provider in the field of Assistive Technology and manages annual #ATUDL grants in the states of NH and MA.
Jennifer is a Licensed and Nationally Registered Occupational Therapist. She is also a RYT200 registered yoga instructor with a focus on inclusive and adaptive yoga for children. She is the recent Past President of the International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) Inclusive Learning Network.
