Anne Marie has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona and earned her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Connecticut in 2015. Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo in June 2023, Anne Marie worked as a speech language pathologist in the outpatient pediatric hospital setting where she went on to serve as the lead clinician of the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC Team). She then joined a rehabilitation center specializing in intensive episodes of care and working with individuals with complex communication needs. Their passion for functionality and application of AAC to an academic setting provided her the opportunity to continue to learn and grow in AAC. As she took on graduate students, she discovered another passion in teaching and education. Anne Marie loves seeing how AAC can bridge an individual user to their world and use technology to connect them to opportunities previously believed to be inaccessible.
Anne Marie holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Florida.
