Arlene Hansen

Arlene has been an AAC Consultant for PRC-Saltillo since 2017.  Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo, she worked in schools in BC and Alberta and gained valuable experience in the classroom and assistive technology teams. She excels in supporting students with using their AAC devices and teaches in-services to school staff and outside agencies.

With 15+ years of experience in AAC and Assistive Technology, Arlene has in-depth knowledge of Accent and NovaChat products including vocabulary sets, alternate access, environmental controls, computer controls and mounting options. She consults with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, teachers, and families to help support and train their teams, before and after the device is delivered.

Olivia Wolkoff
Olivia earned a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Prior to joining Liberator Communications Canada, she worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a specialized school serving students with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Olivia completed AAC evaluations and worked with an interdisciplinary team to support AAC implementation. She also collaborated with special education teachers and other professionals to plan and implement evidence-based literacy instruction for students with complex communication needs.

Olivia holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a member of ASHA's Special Interest Division 12 (AAC Division), and is a member of Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
