Empower® software update 1.21 brings even more digital engagement for new generation Accent® 1400 devices.
Join-In web apps, created by a partnership with D-Bur, offer more ways for users of the Accent 1400 to enjoy an accessible digital life. Stay connected to friends and family with this second set of Join-In web apps for Facebook and Messenger. (Check out the first set of apps here.)
Basic and advanced versions of each app allow individuals to write posts with text, emojis, and gifs, share posts, scroll your feed, tag accounts, make video calls, and more. Users can type posts and messages with their Unity®, LAMP Words for Life®, or Essence® vocabulary. Engaging with social media is possible regardless of literacy level.
Plus, you can customize your apps with the editor function and place buttons you use most on the home page. Watch the video below to learn more.
Join-In web apps make culture, creativity, and connection even more accessible. Join in the fun today!
